Abstract

The article provides general information about polyurethane paint-and-varnish materials, their areas of application and properties. Acrylic-urethane materials as well as their advantages and properties of certain industrial brands are presented. A hydroxyl-containing acrylic copolymer was synthesized by solution radical copolymerization, and the characteristics of the synthesis product were studied. Experimental compositions were obtained based on a copolymer solution. Acrylic-urethane coatings were obtained and their performance characteristics were studied. The effect of the addition of polymethylsiloxane oil on the properties of the material was investigated.
