Peculiarities of computer modeling in the development of technological processes for metal pressure processing (review)

Abstract

Specialized software packages allow for the simulation of various plastic processing operations. Calculations are performed taking into account the properties of the deformed and tooling materials, as well as varying the process parameters of the deformation processes. This makes it possible to evaluate the manufacturability of various manufacturing schemes for deformed semi-finished products by analyzing various parameters, such as deformation, forces, temperature ranges, and others. This reduces the costs of direct experiments and the development of deformation technologies.
