Current status and development trends of dispersion-strengthened copper alloys (review)
Abstract
In the context of the intensive development of nuclear energy, power plants for aerospace industries, and electronics, the requirements for structural materials are increasing. One of these requirements is to ensure the operability of materials and products made from them, and preservation of their functional properties, primarily thermal and electrical conductivity under prolonged exposure to thermal and mechanical loads. Dispersion-strengthened copper alloys, in which hardening is achieved by introducing nanoscale thermostable particles of oxides, borides, etc. into the matrix, solve this problem.
