Study of fatigue resistance of stampings made of high-strength VT23M titanium alloy
Abstract
This article presents the results of a study of the structure, mechanical properties and fatigue resistance of forged specimens made of VT23M titanium (α + β)-alloy, manufactured under pilot production conditions after heat treatment using a double-annealing regime. Based on the results of fracture studies, the features of the alloy fatigue fracture process have been clarified by fracture analysis. A comparative analysis was conducted of the fatigue resistance parameters of the VT23M alloy and similar alloys based on chemical composition and application.
